Zoe has a tiny figure that is extremely underweight making it fairly obvious she suffers from anorexia. Her bones are painfully prominent in places like her collarbones and hips and her long legs are stick thin. Because of this she's never had many curves, but she prefers it that way. She has porcelain white skin which adorned with her usual makeup makes her look like a doll. She loves blood red or scarlet lipstick and wears it often. Her natural hair color is a nice auburn brown, but she’s dyed it a vibrant red. It’s naturally straight, but she likes to curl it on occasion for a change. Her eyes are a striking blue, with flecks of green in the centre and she often adorns them with black liner and fake lashes. Both of her ears have been stretched and she also has a vertical labret. Her clothing style can be quite revealing and she likes fancy leggings with skirts, jean shorts, and a little tank top or tee. She often wears platform heels for shoes which just emphasize her petite legs.

Zoe’s a complete sweetheart, always putting others before her own wellbeing and trying her best to help them out with problems. If she sees someone crying or in trouble, she can’t just walk by – regardless if they are a stranger or not – it’s just in her nature. She’s extremely dedicated and loyal to friends and hates starting fights with them. Conflict isn’t in her nature to be honest. Then again she can get quite vicious if someone’s messing around with her friends or tells her to eat more.

Zoe has a bubbly nature and often gives off a false impression of being confident. True she can be one of the most outrageous, loudest people out there but sometimes she just likes to sit back and relax. Other times the woman’s so quiet that people think she’s shy. She’s commonly misjudged. If she wants to make a statement or voice her opinion, she’ll do it without hesitation. Freedom of speech for the win? I think so. What people don’t realize is that Zoe actually suffers from a deep depression, which has led to her anorexia and self-harming. You won’t hear her telling anyone that though. It’s a secret, and she’d like it to stay that way. She’s exceptional at making up excuses or little white lies, and a phenomenal actress when she needs to be.

The only thing that might hint to her low self-worth is her severely underweight figure – that and her tendency to get very emotional. If someone Zoe cares about starts yelling at her or pushing her around she’ll get quite distressed and often cry. She’s also very defensive over being classed as ‘anorexic’. She denies having a problem at all and continues to diet and consume minimal calories on a day to day basis. If someone makes a comment on her tiny figure she’ll laugh it off and attempt to sway the topic. If they keep pressing the matter she gets very angry. It’s almost like she’s a complete different person. She gets nasty and irritable, saying hurtful things that she doesn’t really mean. People say it’s just the ‘anorexia’ talking which just makes her even angrier.

Zoe’s also flirtatious at times, although she’s very indecisive about what she wants. Sometimes she craves somebody to love and care about her – she adores all that cuddly and romantic crap. Other times she’s terrified of being hurt and finding the right man is the last thing on her mind. Overall she’s a nice girl with a lot of problems. Problems she isn’t willing to change.

Zoe’s parents were just starting their lives together when their daughter was born, but they never let that get in the way. They both continued onto college. Matthew started his own photography business and Elizabeth eventually opened up her own gym. They were both two very bright young people, with very bright futures. Zoe grew up as the center of their universe. She had her mother's long flowing hair, and her father's captivating blue eyes. She was absolutely perfect.

Life went pretty good for Zoe up until high school. At the age of fourteen she started dating a troubled boy named Riley. Right off the bat he was never the ‘ideal’ boyfriend. He was always comparing Zoe to other girls, putting her down and in turn crushing her self-esteem. Despite this she stuck by him, and fast forward a year later they were still dating. Riley was heavily involved in drugs at this point and more abusive than ever. He never physically harmed her but the verbal abuse was shocking. In her distraught state Zoe began to starve herself. She was already a skinny girl but Riley had her believing she was fat and worthless. It started out as a form of control – a way to keep herself calm. However as time passed it began to progress into an obsession. The smaller the number on the scales got, the more determined Zoe was to lose more. Diet pills, purging, excessive exercise…she’d buy into any method of losing weight with no regards to the devastating effects it was having on her poor body.

Things took an even worse turn when Riley raped her. Zoe fell pregnant, and naturally put on weight. She had to deal with Riley calling her fat every single day (when in reality she was still tiny, only gaining 15 pounds). Every night Zoe would cry herself to sleep, losing all her self-esteem and never going out. Eventually Riley broke up with her, and although she had supportive parents Zoe was depressed. As an attempt to renew herself and start going out more, she lost every single pound of extra weight on her body and more.

Zoe’s appetite became little to nothing once again, and the more stress that built up on her shoulders, the easier it was to lose weight. Six months into her pregnancy, Zoe lost the baby. The consequences of starving herself had taken its toll. Her body was unable to support the unborn child. Zoe felt dead and empty, turning away food completely. She also started to self-harm, slashing her wrists open behind closed doors. Her parents worried sick tried everything they could, but to anvil.

Zoe had also started up modeling, and the constant focus on body image in the industry made things worse. She’d get up at two in the morning to workout, running until she reached exhaustion. Finally her body could take no more and she passed out from malnutrition. The girl was immediately rushed to hospital, on the verge of death with a resting heart rate of thirty. She was forced to stay there until somewhat stable and then admitted into the phoenix house. Zoe’s not looking to ‘recover’ at all, and still attempts to lose weight. She wants nothing short of perfection and it determined to achieve that.
