Aiden is of a reasonably tall height at 5’9. He has a fast paced metabolism which leads to his naturally slender build, although he’s clearly underweight due to intentional avoidance of eating. Nevertheless he’s still decently toned and likes to work out to ensure he stays in shape. His hair is always straightened with his fringe sweeping across his pale face, along with choppy layers that get longer near the back. It’s constantly changing color having been platinum blonde and bright red in the past, although at the moment he’s settled on a dark brown that’s often mistaken for black. In a sense, Aiden’s hair is his pride and joy and he ensures to keep it perfect throughout the day. Other than his hair, Aiden is always very discernible by his eye color. It’s a piercing gray-blue, although he’s been known to wear the odd contact every now and then to enhance his features even more. He also has one very long scar running up his wrist from a past suicide attempt – it refuses to fade away so Aiden does his best to cover it.

His sense of style includes skinny jeans, skate shoes, converses, hoodies, trucker hats, band shirts or random graphic tees. He likes to have at least a splash of color prevailing in his outfits, although sometimes he’s caught wearing all black.

Personality:
If Aiden’s anything he’s shy. New people tend to scare the living shit out of him and he tends to keep himself out of any situations that would lead to him having to socialize with somebody he doesn’t know. Of course this factor of his personality has to do with having social anxiety disorder. The times in school when a teacher asks the class to pick their own groups for an assignment are the worst for him; in fact he’s faked being sick just to avoid these nerve-wracking group scenarios. Being placed in an assigned group is okay (to an extent), but to expect him to approach a group of people and ask to join them? The mere thought makes him sick. His anxiety really flares up around large crowds as well, making him prone to panic attacks. He’s constantly on the edge around strangers, expecting some sort of critical comment to be thrown his way. However when around people he’s warmed up too, Aiden’s almost the complete opposite of bashful. He comes out of his shell completely and can actually get talking quite a bit – unless in a large crowd where he’ll go back to introverted tendencies. Until then he’s just guarded and very cautious.

Going along with his timid manner is Aiden’s insecurities. He’s very self-conscious of how he looks and has major self-esteem issues. This has brought on a mild case of bulimia. He doesn’t have any problem with eating but if he thinks he may have gained a pound he won’t even hesitate to pull out a trusty toothbrush and make sure that anything he’s consumed goes straight down the toilet. Aiden refuses to admit to bulimia in anyway and hasn’t told anybody about it. He’s far too scared of it leaking out if he did trust someone with the secret and if anyone ever caught him making himself throw up he’d probably cry.

Insecurities aside Aiden is a complete sweetheart with a heart of gold. He’s always trying to keep his friends happy and help them out. He’s extremely loyal to those he loves and will rarely if ever fight with them. Conflict isn’t in his nature and he prefers to back away from any arguments or fights. Call him a wimp, but honestly he just considers altercations pointless and unnecessary. Even when around people he dislikes, he chooses to try block out their existence rather than waste time with an angry confrontation. If you really were determined to provoke the guy, the most effective way to do this would be messing with his friends. In this case he can get rather heated and may even abandon his calm, quiet exterior to speak up in his friend’s defense.

Aiden also suffers from obsessive compulsive disorder. He’s adopted several strange habits into his daily lifestyle, including opening and closing doors twice, brushing his teeth four times in the morning and frequent hand washing. He’s also terrified of uneven numbers for some unidentified reason. If the volume of the television happens to be odd you can count on him to change it so it’s even.

Another thing - Aiden is really a musician in heart and soul. He’s the one making up lyrics during math’s class, and singing in the shower; all. the. freaking. time. It’s all thanks to his mind-blowing creativity. He knows how he's feeling, and expresses his emotions very well. For a guy that is. He loves writing, and getting feelings down on paper. He’s also very artistic and sketches and paints a lot in his spare time. He’s indisputably talented when it comes to all things creative.

Last but not least in a relationship Aiden’s the kind of guy who treats his partner like royalty. He’ll constantly compliment them and go out of his way to bring a smile to their face-even if it means making a total dick out of himself. He’d definitely never cheat on or abuse them in any form – guys who act that way make him sick. Instead he’s quite romantic and likes to shower his current partner with affectionate gestures and gifts, and although he loves spending time with them he’s also not a possessive asshole. In a nutshell, he’s just very loving and likes long, meaningful relationships.

History:
Once upon a time there was an average teenage girl by the name of Jennifer Wilson. Sick of living up to her parent’s high expectations, the seventeen year old decided to flee from her hometown in search of bigger and better things. Within two weeks she had hitchhiked all the way from Michigan to Miami, which at first turned out to be a huge mistake. Jennifer was homeless with little money to spare and began to seriously regret her decision to leave home. Just when things seemed like they couldn’t get any worse, Jennifer meet twenty-one year old Blaine. He seemed to take pity on the girl, allowing her to stay at his apartment and helping her out as much as possible. The two formed a tight friendship and within a year they were dating. Eventually the couple got married and on the 22nd of July 1993 they had their first child being Aiden.

Nothing truly important or out of the ordinary happened in the first half of Aiden’s life. His sister Natalie was born when he was one and his other sister Melissa when he was three. At school he was always a quiet boy – he preferred having a few close friends rather than hanging around in a huge crowd and was different from most other boys his age. While they all seemed to take an interest in sport Aiden found other ways to amuse himself - such as drawing and writing lyrics. At home Natalie was always in the spotlight, his parents constantly praising her. Aiden was more or less her shadow - as sad as that may sound. It wasn't that his parents intentionally left him out; it was just that Aiden was so damn quiet so therefore he received less attention. As time went on Aiden seemed to grow more and more quiet and his self-esteem was rapidly shrinking.

When Aiden turned fourteen one of his classmates jokingly told him to "move his fatass." Of course the already incredibly self-conscious boy didn't take this as a joke. He began to get extremely worried about gaining weight and although he didn't start starving himself, whenever he felt like he'd ate too much he'd feel insanely guilty until he got rid of it. Thus, the bulimia. Of course Aiden's very embarrassed about this part of his life and he'd probably die (no joke) if someone found out about his seemingly best kept secret.

As time progressed onwards Aiden became quieter and even more self-conscious. He was always on the edge, expecting harsh criticism from anybody new he met. If a group of teenagers walked past laughing he’d become paranoid they were laughing at him. It didn’t help that he was tormented at high school by the ‘popular’ clique. Eventually his sensitivity to large groups became so severe that he started to skip school in order to avoid people. His grades dropped dramatically as a result, going from straight A’s to C’s. Realizing his education was suffering immensely, and wanting a better life for himself Aiden willingly admitted himself into the Phoenix House. He wants nothing more than ‘normality’, and tries his hardest to successfully comply with his schedule.
