Kaela has a tiny frame that is obviously underweight, with her collarbones and ribs jutting prominently out of her pale white skin. Her unnatural slimness is due to drug abuse rather than anything else, although it’s easy to assume she has an eating disorder. Her dangerous addiction is also evident in the fact she has track marks all over her wrists from shooting up, and slightly purple bags under her eyes. Her natural hair color is a nice light brown, but she’s dyed it blonde and dip dyed it teal. It’s naturally straight, but she likes to curl it on occasion for a change.

Her eyes are a striking ocean blue and she often adorns them with heavy liner and fake lashes. She’s also a big fan of ‘unusual’ makeup, and often uses black, dark purple or red lipstick. Personality:
Though quarrelsome at times, Kaela is usually a very lighthearted individual. She’s never had much of a wonderful life, but even in spite of that, she keeps a wholesome attitude. Her attitude is in more of a “whatever” format. She’s very indifferent about life and all of its respective views, when something bad happens, Kaela never worries. She believes that everything happens for a reason, and also that it is darkest before the dawn. Drama is never on her agenda. She just likes to let things slide and keep the good times rolling. She enjoys the art of the fight, whether it’s merely verbal or rather violently physical. Her debating skills make her a worthy adversary for any enemy of hers, not to mention her kickass bitchslap. Even with the risk of getting bitten back, Kaela is quick to judge and uses her sharp tongue to do the talking. She'll tell you like it is, plus sass. Trust me.

All fighting aside, Kaela is a funny person. There’s no other way to describe it. She just is. She has been ever since a rather young age, and it has always been her asset in the world. Telling jokes for a living would have been her future had she not fucked it up with drugs and alcohol. She’s also rather loving once you get to know her. Otherwise, she’s just an asshole spitfire. But once you break the seal, she’s sweet as a lamb. No joke. In relationships, it takes a long time for Kaela to let down her guard, but when she does, her partner seems to like her a whole lot more.

Sarcasm is Kaela’s most prominent quality. It’s evident everywhere—her facial expressions, the cock of her eyebrows, the blue in her eyes… Everywhere. She uses her special gift to her advantage in situations where she’s with people she doesn’t necessarily like. It works wonders, really, and it usually prevents her A) from getting made fun of in any aspect and B) from them ever speaking to her again. And while sarcasm prevails, humility is another of Kaela's features. She doesn't know the meaning of the word 'arrogant', considering she has such low self esteem. But even so, Kaela has enough self-worth to kick some serious ass.

Kaela Bensley was born on Friday, February 5th. She was born into a poor and loosely structured family, with a single mother who was addicted to crystal meth. Luckily, Kaela did not inherit the addiction, but she was still brought up very poorly by her mother, Natalie. Natalie tried her best, she really did, but the meth was too much for her to handle on her own. Kaela often went unfed or was left home alone. But this was a partially good thing, because she learned how to take care of herself at an early age. Maybe too early.

By age 14, Kaela was a sexually active slut. She was sleeping around for cigarettes, alcohol, and drugs. A mishap in one of her escapades, though, left her with a late period and three positive pregnancy tests. Kaela received an abortion and vowed never to have sex again until she was in love. Well, this just happened to be rather soon, when a new student stole her heart. His name was Jason and he was perfect. Kaela was in love within a week, and the two were happy together for about a year.

Nearing their first year anniversary, though, things got bad. Jason would start to hit Kaela if she talked back to him, or slap her across the face if she refused to do something he told her to. Kaela was afraid that he would hurt anyone she told, so she kept it to herself. But her best friend at the time began to notice what was wrong, and immediately took action against it. Kaela was placed in counseling, and Jason in rehab for anger management.

However, even with Jason’s cruelty gone from her life the scars were still raw as ever. Kaela took up harder drugs including heroin and cocaine, and once again resorted to sex if it was her only way of gaining them. As the days passed on her drug and sex addiction grew more severe until she was absolutely hooked. She lost a shocking amount of weight and soon had her pale wrists covered with track marks. Eventually Natalie decided enough was enough and sent Kaela away to the Phoenix House in hopes for a better future for her daughter. She’s taking the programming very seriously, wishing to recover from her addiction and move on with life. Unfortunately it’s harder than first thought. She gets encountering setbacks and having to repeat previous stages. Currently she’s on stage three but it probably won’t last long until she caves into her addiction once again.
